All About Monroe opened April 1, 2017 with one idea: everyone deserves to embrace their Inner Monroe.
The beginning
All About Monroe began as a mother-daughter vision and opened its doors on April 1, 2017. It was built on more than twenty years of experience in the beauty industry, and on the influence of Lisa’s mother, Cindy, who shaped the idea of what the space should feel like long before it existed.
Lisa wanted a place where women and men could walk in and leave feeling more like themselves. After earning her Registered Nursing license, she was able to make that a full reality — adding medical aesthetics, physician-grade weight loss and peptide therapy to the hair, nails and massage services already offered here.
The name is a nod to Marilyn Monroe: glamour and class, and the belief that confidence is something you can help someone find. Nothing we do is about becoming a different person. It is about enhancing what is already there.
Today All About Monroe is the only practice in Northeast Georgia offering medical aesthetics, medical weight loss, peptide therapy, massage, hair and nails under one roof, with a Registered Nurse on site.
Inner Monroe
Our clients come from Demorest, Cornelia, Clarkesville, Baldwin, Alto and Mount Airy — often together, often for more than one service in the same visit. The goal is always the same: you, looking rested and like yourself.
Our team
Every treatment here is performed by a licensed professional. Medical services — injectables, weight loss and peptide therapy — are directed by Lisa Downs Smith, RN.
Clinical lead
Registered Nurse · Owner, lead injector
Lisa is a licensed Registered Nurse and the owner of All About Monroe, and she personally performs the practice's neurotoxin, dermal filler and microneedling treatments. She brings more than twenty years in the beauty industry to every facial assessment she does.
Partner
Cindy is Lisa's mother and co-founder, and the other half of the mother-daughter vision the practice was built on. She oversees the business side of the studio so the clinical team can stay focused on client care.
Medical Assistant
Cindy supports the medical side of the practice, assisting with weight loss visits, peptide protocols and aesthetic treatments. She handles intake, vitals and documentation so every chart is complete before treatment begins.
Master Cosmetologist
Chelsey is a licensed Master Cosmetologist specializing in cut, color and corrective work. She takes a consultation-first approach, matching tone and shape to your hair's actual condition rather than a photograph.
Master Cosmetologist
Laney is a licensed Master Cosmetologist who works across color, styling and everyday-wearable cuts. She is known for finishing a service by teaching clients how to recreate it at home.
Massage Therapist
Yolanda is a licensed massage therapist offering deep tissue, Swedish, therapeutic, prenatal, hot stone and cupping bodywork. She assesses each client before the session and adjusts pressure and technique accordingly.
Nail Technician
Autumn is a licensed nail technician handling manicures, pedicures and enhancements. Her work is built around clean preparation and nail health, not just finish.
Media Specialist
Catherine manages the studio's photography, social media and client education content. She documents real results from the treatment room so what you see online reflects the work done here.
Guest Services
Vickie is usually the first person you speak with, handling scheduling, confirmations and questions before your visit. She keeps the day running so appointments start on time.
