Botox, Dysport & Dermal Fillers in Demorest, GA

Medically reviewed by Lisa Downs Smith, RNLast updated

Premium cosmetic injectables placed by a registered nurse — refreshed, natural, still recognisably you.

Overview

Cosmetic injectables are medical treatments that soften expression lines and restore facial volume using neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, or hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. They suit adults in Demorest, Cornelia, Clarkesville and across Habersham County who want to look rested and current without surgery or a long recovery.

At All About Monroe, every injectable is placed by Lisa Downs Smith, RN. Botox and Dysport work by gently relaxing the facial muscles responsible for expression, smoothing forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet. Custom dermal filler restores lost volume, sculpts facial contours and softens deeper creases. We treat the face as a whole rather than chasing one line at a time — the goal is balance, not a frozen result.

Treatments

What we offer.

Injectables sit at the centre of the aesthetics menu, with skin treatments and finishing services alongside them.

Botox

The most established neurotoxin. Botox relaxes the muscles behind frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet, with results that build over about two weeks and typically last three to four months.

Dysport

A botulinum toxin type A with a slightly thinner formulation. It can spread more easily across broader areas such as the forehead and often shows results a day or two sooner than Botox.

Xeomin

A purified neurotoxin with no added proteins. A good option if you prefer the simplest available formulation or have used other neurotoxins for years.

Dermal Filler

Custom hyaluronic acid filler to restore lost volume, sculpt cheeks and jawline, define or hydrate lips, and soften deeper folds. Results are visible immediately and settle over about two weeks.

Microneedling

A minimally invasive treatment that uses tiny sterile needles to stimulate the body’s natural healing process, boosting production of fresh collagen and elastin. Used for texture, fine lines, pores and acne scarring.

Microneedling with PRP

The same collagen-induction treatment, finished with platelet-rich plasma drawn from your own blood to add growth factors to the healing response.

Chemical Peels

Resurfacing peels to brighten dull skin, even tone and improve congestion. Strength is chosen at consultation based on your skin and how much downtime you can take.

Permanent Makeup & Microblading

Brow microblading and permanent makeup for definition that survives the gym, the pool and a Georgia summer.

Lash Extensions

Individually applied extensions for length and volume, with fills to keep the set looking fresh.

Waxing & Spray Tans

Facial and body waxing plus custom spray tanning — the finishing touches, in the same building as everything else.

Compare

Botox vs Dysport vs Xeomin.

All three are botulinum toxin type A and all three relax the muscles that create expression lines. The differences are in formulation, onset and how the product behaves across an area.
  • Botox

    Onset
3–5 days, full effect by 2 weeks
    Typical duration
    3–4 months
    Best suited to
The most established option. Predictable, well studied, ideal for precise areas such as frown lines and crow's feet.
  • Dysport

    Onset
    2–3 days
    Typical duration
    3–4 months
    Best suited to
Slightly thinner formulation, so it may spread more easily across broader areas like the forehead and can show results sooner.
  • Xeomin

    Onset
    3–4 days
    Typical duration
    3–4 months
    Best suited to
A purified formulation with no added proteins — often chosen by clients who want the simplest possible product.

There is no universally better product. Lisa recommends one over another based on the area being treated, how your muscles move and how you have responded to neurotoxin in the past. Individual results vary, and neurotoxin is not appropriate for everyone — screening happens at consultation.

What to expect

Your visit, step by step.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We review your health history, medications and goals, then assess your face at rest and in motion to build a plan and a quote before anything is injected.

  2. 02

    Treatment

Numbing cream first, then precise injections. Most neurotoxin appointments take about fifteen minutes; filler takes longer, particularly for lips.

  3. 03

    Aftercare

Stay upright for four hours, skip strenuous exercise, heat and facials for twenty-four hours, and expect small bumps or mild swelling to settle quickly.

  4. 04

    Follow-up

We check neurotoxin results at two weeks and adjust if needed, then plan maintenance around your calendar — usually every three to four months.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How long does Botox and filler last?

Botox typically lasts three to six months, and dermal filler lasts six months to two years. Longevity depends on the area treated, your age, your skin condition and how quickly your body metabolizes the product. High-movement areas such as the lips need touch-ups sooner; lower-movement areas such as the cheeks hold their result longer.

Does it hurt to get injections?

Most clients describe a slight pinch or sting rather than pain. We apply a topical numbing cream before treatment, and for lip filler we allow extra time for the numbing to take full effect before we begin.

What is the difference between Botox, Dysport and Xeomin?

All three are botulinum toxin type A and all three relax the muscles that create expression lines. Botox is the most established of the three and typically lasts three to four months. Dysport has a slightly thinner formulation, so it can spread more easily across broader areas like the forehead and may show results sooner. Xeomin is a purified formulation with no added proteins.

Is there any downtime after treatment?

Most clients return to normal activity the same day. Small bumps, pinpoint redness or mild swelling at the injection sites are common and usually settle within a few hours; bruising is possible with filler and can take several days to fade. We ask you to stay upright, skip strenuous exercise and avoid heat for the rest of the day.

Are the results permanent?

No. Neurotoxin and dermal filler results are temporary and require maintenance to keep. Most clients schedule neurotoxin every three to four months and reassess filler at six to twelve months.

Who performs the injections at All About Monroe?

Lisa Downs Smith, RN — a registered nurse and the owner of the practice — performs the injectable treatments personally. Every treatment begins with a consultation and a facial assessment before anything is injected.
