Massage Therapy in Demorest, GA

Deep tissue, Swedish, therapeutic and specialty bodywork with Yolanda Strickland, in a quiet private suite.

Overview

Massage therapy is hands-on treatment of muscle and connective tissue to relieve pain, release tension and support recovery. It suits anyone in Demorest, Cornelia, Clarkesville or Habersham County dealing with chronic tightness, a specific injury, the physical load of pregnancy, or simply the need for an hour of genuine quiet.

Yolanda Strickland is our massage therapist, working from a private suite inside the medspa and salon. That means you can pair bodywork with an injectable appointment, a colour service or a manicure in a single visit — something no other practice in this part of Northeast Georgia offers.

What to expect

Your visit, step by step.

  1. 01

    Consultation

A short intake before you get on the table: what hurts, what you do all day, what you want out of the hour.

  2. 02

    Treatment

Your chosen modality and duration, with pressure adjusted as you go. Speak up at any point — the session is yours.

  3. 03

    Aftercare

Water, gentle movement and heat where it helps. Some soreness after deep tissue work is normal for a day or so.

  4. 04

    Follow-up

For a persistent issue, a short series usually works better than a single session. We'll suggest a cadence rather than a package.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Which massage should I book?

Choose deep tissue for persistent knots and chronic tension, Swedish for relaxation and circulation, and therapeutic when you have a specific injury or restriction you want worked on. If you are not sure, book a 60-minute therapeutic session and Yolanda will adjust the approach once she has assessed you.

How long should my first massage be?

Sixty minutes suits most first visits. A 30-minute session is best for one focused area such as neck and shoulders, and 90 minutes gives enough time for full-body work with detailed attention to problem areas.

Who is the massage therapist at All About Monroe?

Yolanda Strickland is our massage therapist. She works out of a quiet private suite inside the medspa and salon, so you can pair bodywork with any other service in the same visit.

Can I have a massage while pregnant?

Yes — we offer a 30-minute prenatal massage designed for comfort and safe positioning during pregnancy. Let us know your trimester when you book, and check with your obstetric provider first if you have a high-risk pregnancy.

What is lymphatic drainage massage?

Lymphatic drainage is a light, rhythmic technique that encourages the movement of lymph fluid to reduce swelling and support the body's natural drainage. It is gentle by design — it should not feel like deep tissue work.

Do you offer cupping and hot stone?

Yes. Cupping is available as a 30-minute session at $30, and hot stone is offered in 30- and 60-minute sessions — call for current hot stone pricing. Lomi Lomi and trigger point work are also available; call for pricing.
